CSU System Adopts Moodle LMS Services
- The California State University system is providing new learning management system support options to its 23 campuses. Through a new agreement with Moodlerooms, campuses will be offered the option of adopting the open source Moodle virtual learning environment and will be provided with hosting, training, and other support services. In addition to Moodle, the CSU system is also offering a similar service to schools that adopt Angel LMS, a commercial learning management system.

CourseCast Integrates Closed-Captioning Service
- Software developer Panopto is reporting that it has partnered with Automatic Sync Technologies to integrate closed captioning into its CourseCast lecture capture system. The solution was developed jointly on behalf of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, which is using the system to capture, caption, and publish classroom presentations.

InFocus Launches DisplayLink Projector for Education
- InFocus has debuted a new model in its IN3100 series of projectors, the IN3104EP. The new model, like others in the IN3100 series, includes DIsplayLink technology, which allows content to be displayed over USB.
